Peter Ferlan moves between illustration, graphic design and animation. He studied illustration at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana. He likes to use humour to approach more serious topics and is interested in marginal characters who often don't get enough attention. His visual language is mostly simple, flat and colourful.
He often exhibits in solo and group exhibitions in Slovenia and abroad and occasionally works with different collectives. He is a founding member of the art collective freštreš, with which he received the Brumen Biennial award for excellent Slovenian design in publications in 2019.
