Špela Ambrož

Špela Ambrož completed the master's programme at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana under the mentorship of Assoc. Prof. Zora Stančič. Her work currently focuses on the interplay of traditional techniques and contemporary media such as video, animation and drawing or printmaking.

Her practice explores identity, memory and the intersections of personal and social stories. She often connects material, analogue elements with digital ones, looking for new ways of expression through print, photography and moving images.
