Ulla Žibert graduated in sculpture from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design, University of Ljubljana (ALUO) in 2015. She works in the visual arts, focusing on reinterpreting seemingly ordinary everyday phenomena. Combining different media, she develops work that questions what we take for granted, bringing both social and ecological questions into it. She often uses text and wordplay, manipulating language to create situations that explore the relationship between language, image and meaning. She shows her work in group and solo exhibitions in Slovenia and abroad.
