Ajda Schmidt

Ajda Schmidt is an independent designer and photographer working mainly in culture. Her projects are marked by an affinity for technical details, the narrative qualities of materials, and printing and bookbinding techniques, most clearly in SCH Stationery, a stationery series developed in a long collaboration with Tiskarna Povše. She also writes and edits: she co-authored the book Oblikovanje vrednosti, and her texts have appeared in Delo, Dnevnik, Outsider, Ekran and Tribuna. She is a board member of the Brumen Foundation and, since 2023, a visiting lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design. Her work has received numerous Slovenian and international awards.
